About Teach with Thomas

Hello everyone, welcome to Teach with Thomas!

I completed my BA in Arts (Joint Majors) in 2016, studying History and Geography, in University College Dublin obtaining a First Class Honours.

I completed my Professional Masters in Education in 2018 in Dublin City University obtaining a First Class Honours.

Since 2018, I have worked full-time teaching Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate History and Geography. I worked with the Level 1 and Level 2 Learning Programmes within a mainstream classroom and special setting.

I completed my Masters in Special Educational Needs in Dublin City University in April 2023. I am graduating in October 2023 with a First Class Honours.

I am a Second Year Link Teacher, working with students with additional needs. I have experience creating student support plans, teaching learning support classes and working with students with complex needs. I hold a fervent belief that all students should have the opportunity to succeed. Although we all have different abilities, we all have potential!

Furthermore, I have experience working for the State Examinations Commission (SEC) and Mock Companies. This allows me to shed my experience as an examiner through my resources.
